The technology behind the New Balance 991

The New Balance 991 takes advantage of the latest advancements in shoe technology that’s developed by New Balance. New Balance always keeps it’s shoes up to date with the latest comfort technology. The 991 is loaded with great technology such as, flex grooves, a blown rubber forefoot, ABZORBZ, and a Polyurethane heel. All of this adds up to make a solid shoe. In this article I’ll be talking about each one of the things that brings this shoes technology together.

The first piece of technology I’ll talk about with the New Balance 991, is the flex grooves in the forefoot of the shoe. What flex grooves are exactly, are grooves found on the out-sole of the shoe. The grooves on shoes generally determine what sports the shoe is actually designed for.

Another piece of technology in the New Balance 991 is the blown rubber forefoot. This feature of the 991 provides some of the much need padding and flexibility needed in a running shoe. This is an important feature of the shoe in and of itself.

The next piece of technology I’ll talk about in the 991, is the ABZORB inserts. These extra patented rubber inserts add more cushioning to the forefoot and heel. These do the job of displacing energy and make the impact softer on your foot when you are running.

The last piece of technology I’ll talk about that’s in the New Balance 991 is, the polyurethane heel. This provides the shoe with even more durability and cushioning. It will hold your heel in place while still keeping the comfort level you’d expect from the shoe.

In closing, technology is important. The speed of advancement these days is astounding. Same goes with shoes. Shoes are getting more advanced by the year. The New Balance 991 has some of the best technology for a shoe available today. All of these features add even more to a shoe that is already a great value and a great shoe.
